The 步步驚心 Chinese drama is one of the best I’ve seen, talking about a modern girl going back in time to the Qing Dynasty. I especially like the 三寸天堂 theme song because it has a nice melody and was played so many times throughout the drama.
This is the first song that I tried to do a piano accompaniment for, and I actually worked on that first before deciding to do the piano solo as I have more experience in arranging a solo than for a piano accompaniment. I played this piece so many times that I lost emotion when playing it, and had to listen to the original song to capture it again, which makes me wonder how artists keep singing the same song over and over and still sing with emotion beautifully. :p
I’m totally in love with Naruto’s theme songs! This is the first piano arrangement that I completed for Naruto. It is not an easy feat, but I thoroughly enjoyed arranging it. Playing it with minimal mistakes and with the right emotion is also another challenge. Overall, I’m quite happy with the result. Check out my other Naruto piano arrangement of Nakushita Kotoba.
Half way through watching Dong Yi, I started liking its end theme song, too. So, I worked at it on the piano again, and came up with this version of the piano arrangement. Don’t forget to check out the other Dong Yi theme song.
Dong Yi, the Korean drama was not bad. Its insert song’s melody was simply too beautiful for me to resist from arranging it. The result is a beautiful piano arrangement. (At least I think so :p) After watching half way through the drama, I also started liking its end theme song.
The Naruto anime series is one of the best, and should be considered a classic. Of course, its theme songs are also up to par. There are a few songs that I especially like from the anime. I like Naruto and its theme songs so much that I’m arranging some of them on the piano as a tribute to all the wonderful people behind the Naruto project. This is actually my second Naruto theme song arrangement. The first one I did is Naruto Shippuden End Theme 2 – Michi~To You All.
